
Festivals, Markets & Street Food
Hakkō House has been trading at festivals, markets and events across the South West since 2022, making our festival debut at Shindig Festival. Since then, our journey has taken us to iconic events including We Out Here, WOMAD, Glastonbury, End of the Road, The Big Retreat, and Lake Paradiso, alongside markets and city celebrations such as Frome Independent, Bath Carnival, Frome Festival, and The Great Bath Feast. We’ve also guest traded at venues including The Cider Bus, Eli’s Rose & Crown, and The Alhampton Inn.
Our festival and market menu is built around top-quality ingredients and handcrafted flavours. We use Loch Duart salmon, and wherever possible ethically sourced, free-range and organic produce. All of our sushi is hand-rolled on site, with sauces made in-house — including our rich, savoury teriyaki — and our entire menu is 100% gluten-free. Vegan dishes are approached with the same care and attention, created in collaboration with trusted suppliers, including our partners Tofoo.
Behind the scenes is a skilled, passionate team who thrive in high-energy festival environments, delivering food that’s consistently fresh, vibrant and full of flavour — even at scale. Our menus are designed specifically for street food service, balancing speed and quality, with a selection of proven crowd favourites (see example menu).
We’re always open to new opportunities and would love to trade as a street food offering at festivals, markets, venues and events across Devon, Somerset, Dorset and beyond.
